Brian Mckinsey '18 Recruiting Profile

~~My name is Brian McKinsey, I just completed my junior at Cannon School and my hopes and aspirations are to play baseball at a collegiate level, while receiving a good education at the same time. My father played varsity baseball at William and Mary, giving him the experience of playing a college sport, and it sounds like a great fit for me. I have an extremely hard work ethic, and I want nothing less than to be the best that I can be. I strive for excellence in the classroom while maintaining a very high GPA while taking all honors and AP classes, and push myself to be a better person than I was yesterday. I have received multiple character awards from my school, as well as recognition for my baseball talent. I received MVP for my middle school team both years I played and I competed on the varsity baseball team as the starting shortstop for the third year. I also play on a very elite travel baseball team that is well known in North Carolina. I hope to make a difference not only on the baseball field, but also off of the field.
