- Long Island Prospect Preview (August 8, 2016) Falcone, a projectable 2018 outfielder, stands at a well built 5-foot-10 and 165-pounds. He ran a 6.92 60. Offensively- At the plate he starts slightly open, hands relaxed and set below the back shoulder.. On the pitch, uses a leg kick to initiate the swing while the hands get above the back shoulder. Well balanced throughout the swing. Had an impressive batting practice, driving the ball to all fields. Recorded an exit velocity of 78 MPH, an increase of 6 MPH over the past year. Projectable player at the next level. Defensively- Gets behind the ball well showing good agility and balance. Uses a quick transfer and short arm action to make strong accurate throws. Arm velocity of 80MPH was recorded, also a 6MPH increase from previous events. Projectable double threat at the next level.
