I love baseball and want to play at a school that has both great baseball and great academics. During my Junior Year, I lead my school team to a playoff spot in the post-season. This was especially significant since the 2016 school season was the first time in five years that my high school (a small independent school in upstate New York) was able to field a varsity team.
I’m a dedicated player who understands that baseball training does not end when the season is over. I practice and participate at a training facility all year long and am on a regular lifting regimen. During the off season, I’ve become the go-to guy at my training facility for the D-1 players who are looking to throw a bullpen. The more reps I can get the better. I’m a versatile player who can hit, catch, and play third base.
While baseball is very important to me, my academics are even more important. I work hard and take some of most challenging classes my school offers. I know that a successful student athlete must demonstrate dedication, commitment and time management – both to academics and to athletics. You have to work hard every day and be disciplined both in the classroom and on the field. That’s me.
