My goal for my college experience is to find a school that will provide me with a strong collegiate experience in education and athletics. I'm looking for a university that can challenge me academically and athletically. Over the past 11 years in school, I've worked hard on my academics as well as athletics. Since I was 6 years old I've been a competitive swimmer. I use to attend 5 to 6 swim practices a week for 2-3 hr sessions, while maintaining my GPA. I quite competitive swimming in the spring of 2015 to concentrate fully on baseball.
Since I've focused my skills solely on baseball, I've seen my velocity climb over 10 mph this past year. This spring I was recruited to play on LIB Team Tucci Lumber. Team Tucci Lumber competes in Perfect Game Super 25 tournaments, as well as other tournaments. The experience I've gained has been invaluable. I enjoy the step up in competition and I'm having a successful season.
I’ve taken my SAT's, and I have a 1,950 overall score and a 1,320 on Reading/Math. My GPA is a 3.7, and my class rank is top 25%.
I enjoy competing and no situation is ever to stressful. I feel I have not fully reached my potential yet, and as a player I want to work hard to see what it can be. I'm looking for a college program that can provide me with that opportunity. I'm also looking for a college that when my college athletic career is over, it will have provided me with the education to successfully enter the business world.
If you feel your university can provide me with these opportunities and I can be a player you might be interested in, please let me know. I would be happy to visit your school and meet.
Thank you for your time - Joe Graham
