Michael Jeffers, Jr. '16 Recruiting Profile

Hello Coach,
I’m Michael Jeffers, a Senior at Shenendehowa High School in Clifton Park, New York. I’m currently 6’ 3" and 217 pounds and I love playing baseball. I play 1st, 3rd, pitch a little and am the clean up hitter for Shenendehowa. I am a dedicated student athlete looking for a college that would be a perfect match for me, not only in baseball, but for academics as well.
I also play baseball for the South Troy Dodgers (primary team) and the Clifton Park Knights (secondary team) as the starting first baseman, pitcher and clean up hitter. The Clifton Park Knights are a very successful travel team that won our way into 2 World Series. On the Clifton Park Knights I was the starting first baseman, pitcher and number 4 hitter.  Some of my accomplishments are:
* World Series all-defensive pitcher of the tournament
* World Series player of the game
* World Series Golden Glove award recipient
* Starting pitcher for the championship game in Cooperstown Field of Dreams tournament of 108 teams
* Winner of 4 of the 5 homerun derbies I’ve participated in
I am always striving to better myself on the baseball field and in the classroom. I bench press 305 pounds, squat 435 pounds and am constantly improving my grades. If you are looking for a dedicated, hard working, successful addition to your institution, who gives 110% and can eat 24 pancakes, look no further, I am your man.
