Jorge Solodkin '14 Recruiting Profile

My dream is to play catcher at the highest level possible. I grew up in Mexico City playing baseball since the age of 5 and moved here at the age of 6. Baseball has been my best sport and my only focus since 8th grade. I have been apart of successful Millburn Baseball Programs since I moved here and the competition has always been very high. I want to play baseball at the highest college level possible (and hopefully at the next level as well) while attaining a quality education . I consider myself a team leader and the hardest worker on my team, as I am the first to arrive and the last to leave until I feel like I have done more than enough to separate myself from the competition. After missing this past fall season and part of this winter with a stress fracture in my back, I came back in mid-December ahead of time. I have not looked back as every day I am either at the weightroom or gym, team baseball workouts, travel team workouts with Farrah Builders, or catching bullpens for my pitchers. I am doing everything at full strength while still keeping my commitment to school. I am one who will keep fighting and work for what I want and will always be a team player.

UPDATE: I have my February break from the 16th of February until the 24th. My last day of school is the 15th and I am looking to visit schools during that span especially since it is right before baseball season for me.
