Always contributing to the baseball team is my primary athletic goal. As I work hard to reach my personal dream of playing college baseball, the importance of being a positive teammate remains unchanged. And I simply love being part of baseball teams. The camaraderie, the competition, the development are all part of it. While I enter the recruiting process, I will remember that it is important to play in the moment and not to overlook the great opportunities I have right now, in high school, on my club team, coaching younger players, and with my family and friends. This year, 2017, has been an incredible period of development. As a freshman, I earned a starting spot on the Millburn High School Varsity baseball team, where I played right field. The team won the New Jersey Group 4 (largest group) State championship and had a 26-5 record. I will shortly be heading to Cary, N.C. for the National tryouts for the National Team Identification Series for USA Baseball, having earned a spot on the 16U North Atlantic team. My club team, Gallagher Team Mizuno, has also had a successful summer.
