Timothy Heard '15 Recruiting Profile

My name is Tim Heard and I am a rising senior at North Hunterdon HS in Clinton, NJ. As a competitive and dedicated athlete, I have run cross-country for three years, two at the varsity level, and I have played baseball for three years, this year at the varsity level. I enjoy the challenge of working hard to balance my academic goals while simultaneously achieving my success in athletics. I work hard both on and off the field and while I enjoy both sports, my passion will always be with baseball, as it has been since I was five years old.

I play baseball nearly year-round between my varsity team at school and my travel club team in the summer and fall, coupled with winter training as well. My vision is to study nursing in college, utilizing my strengths in the sciences and compassion for helping people. I’ve taken honors biology this past year and will be taking AP chemistry in my senior year and feel that my curriculum will prepare me well for pursuing a degree in nursing in college. I look forward to achieving both my academic and athletic goals and would love the opportunity to talk about becoming part of your team!
