I am a catcher in baseball. To me, "catcher" is part of my identity, who I am. I capitalize my name, and so I should capitalize my sport. I am extremely passionate about what I do. I have been catching since second grade and playing baseball since I was three. Year round it is my passion.
My life goal is to go as far as I can possibly push myself with baseball. Even when my career in playing is over I have admissions to coach so I can instill the love for the game in other kids as my coaches have done for me. I spend my time polishing my skills, pushing myself to improve.
I do this because baseball is my future. Without my success on the field, it is unlikely I will have the opportunities that I have envisioned for myself
My mother works intensely to provide me with opportunities to succeed and is always my biggest supporter. I push myself harder than others to make it all worthwhile for her.
Faith, family, country and baseball are four words but my world. Without them I am not who I have become and who I wish to grow to be.
I have many things I enjoy and the only way to enjoy things is to be good at them and that takes work. In everything I do it requires dedication and hard work and full concentration. Education is very important to me, to succeed in life in general you must be educated. To go on to play college baseball or beyond I know I must push myself to be great on the field and great in the classroom.
