Reid Lundell '14 Recruiting Profile

My name is Reid Lundell and I am a junior at Lincoln High School in Lake City, MN. Baseball has been and always will be my personal passion. It is my dream to play baseball beyond high school, while at the same time pursuing a top-notch education towards a career in the medical or engineering field. I hope my continued excellence on the baseball field and in the classroom will be rewarded with scholarships to aid me in achieving my long term goals. I believe I possess natural leadership qualities that make me stand out amongst my peers. I have already earned the respect of my baseball teammates and coaches by being selected team captain as a sophomore. I was also voted team MVP at the conclusion of both my freshman and sophomore seasons and was also named HVL All-Conference both years. My parents have instilled in me to value a team philosophy above all else and strive to remain humble with every achievement. I believe the many honors I have been given reflect my hard work, dedication, and leadership that I bring to my team. My leadership skills aren't limited to the baseball field, as I have also earned respect from my teachers and classmates by being an academic role model and student body leader. I am a School Board Scholar, Student Council President, National Honor Society member, and most recently selected as a member of our Teen Leadership Program. I have continued to be involved in extra-curricular activities, held numerous leadership roles, and am a three-sport athlete while still maintaining a 3.98 GPA.
