Korey Inman '21 Recruiting Profile

I have enjoyed playing baseball since I was little boy. I started out playing T-ball with the Little League and then move on to coach pitch, AA and AAA Little League baseball. One day a coach from another team told me that I needed to play travel baseball because he felt that I was talented enough and would gain experience playing on that level. I was fortunate to begin training for travel ball right away and have appreciated what it has taught me about the game of baseball, teamwork, commitment and sacrifice. It has also aided me in developing leadership skills and taught me how to behave in tough situations.

I found it difficult moving to a different school and neighborhood. My parents wanted me to attend another school other than my neighborhood school to challenge me more educationally, but attending this school left me feeling left out and alone. The kids knew that I wasn’t from their neighborhood and treated me differently. During this time, it was a blessing to be able to play for two programs that committed itself to building a team not based on winning but building character and baseball skills. I learn what it felt like to be a part of a family outside of my original family.

I am looking for a program that will be challenge me academically and enhance my skills athletically. I believe that I will be an asset to your college program. I have the skills to compete on the next level and believe that I will make a positive impact on your program. My past experiences, on and off the field, has strengthen my character, work-ethic and has taught me team work, commitment and accountability.
