My name is Dylan Weiss. I am 5’-9” tall and weigh 200 lbs and my primary position is third base with a velocity of 78 mph from third to first and exit velocity for hitting is consistently around 87 mph. Currently I have a 2.7 GPA entering my junior year of high school and plan on taking the SATs and ACTs this fall and next spring.
I have been playing baseball since I was 7 years old. I have a strong work ethic and have committed to training all year round with personal hitting lessons for 16 weeks through the winter. I have played on an elite travel team for the past two summers and have been nominated for the All-Star team both years. I am the starting third baseman for my summer travel team and have been hitting in the upper half of the batting order with a 0.275 batting average and 0.425 slugging percentage. I was a varsity player for both my Freshman and sophomore years and was a starter the majority of my sophomore year.
I do not have a specific preference for geographical location or size, I am open to finding a school that fits my baseball ability and my academic needs. I am unsure of the field I wish to study, however, I am interested in sports management and may pursue as a major.
