Evan Hall '20 Recruiting Profile

Throughout my life, baseball has been my biggest focus.  It is something that I have been dedicated to, and something I have worked hard at to get to the level I am today. Baseball is more then a sport to me, it is a lifestyle.  I would say I spend the majority of my day thinking, talking, arguing about baseball and of course playing baseball. Nothing is more important to me on the field than to win or to have people around me share the same passion for winning. I dedicate a lot of attention to hitting and love evaluating my swing, analyzing what I need to improve and making those changes.

I am currently 5’9 and 140 pounds.  I have grown roughly 4 inches over the last year. I work hard on my speed and agility outside of practice.  I played corner outfield on my travel teams prior to starting high school baseball.  I was selected to play on the varsity team as a freshman.  My coach started me at center and I am most proud of my development and accomplishment in that position during the season.  I worked on improving my range and arm strength and reading the hitter to better position myself.  I contributed solidly in hitting as well, batting .341. 

I am looking for a college that is a good academic and athletic fit.  At this point in my education, I am interested in many subject areas and I am undecided as to what I want to study in college.  While I am not as focused on the geographic location of the school, I am interested in finding the most competitive and challenging environment.  My goals are to play competitively and have an impact on my team.
