I go to McKinley Senior High School in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and I'm in the gifted program at school and I think I'm academically sound, I'm also in the talented program. Athletically, I've always had a work ethic but not a regular one, a work ethic that keeps me obsessed with what I'm doing. For an example, I never ran Track before 7th and 8th grade and decided "why not try out". I was trying for sprinter I made the team, but the main reason is because I could also run cross-country (which I didn't know). My first track meet I came in 6th place and I told myself I'm going to push my limits....and I did with a lot of work. In my first year I placed top 3 in the 800 meter and clinched top 3 in the 4×4. Forgive me if I talked about that too much, this is about baseball right? It's my first year (sophomore year) on the team and I'm on Varsity. I've been working everyday even when practice hasn't been scheduled. I've been developing very quickly from fielding fundamentals, batting, and trying to improve any hole in my game. I never want to leave practice because I'm truly obsessed with improving, but I think that's what makes me valuable. I'm always one of the last ones IF not the last one to leave. I'm dedicated to this and I'm on a mission now to prove to you that I am a true talent. I hope your eyes will be on me by the end of this year, because I'm looking to make a mark. My goals this year are to be recognized as one of the best high school baseball players, but my main goal is to push my team as far as I can, because I want everyone putting in 120% effort and I want this, because I want any team I'm on to go as far as it can. I've said my part and I hope you are looking forward to the near future like I am.
