Dylan Carnahan '16 Recruiting Profile

        My name is Dylan Carnahan and I am a 5’11” 150 pound RHP.  I  graduated from Olathe North High School.  Olathe North is currently the largest high school in the state of Kansas and competes at the 6A level.  I pitched on Varsity my junior and senior years.   I currently have a max fastball velocity of 86 mph and have command of three pitches: a fastball, curveball, and change-up.

        I graduated with a 3.36 unweighted GPA and a 4.01 weighted GPA after having taken numerous Advanced Placement and honors classes.  I scored a 25 on the ACT with a NCAA combined score of 102.  I was also a member of the National Debate and Forensics League and debated for two years.  While I was in high school, I accumulated 23 hrs. of concurrent college credit at Johnson County Community College.

        I have worked very hard to improve my pitching skills each year by working with a pitching coach, lifting weights, long tossing, and training with weighted baseballs.  Currently,  I am using the 3x Top Velocity program to increase my strength and, hopefully, increase my velocity.  I will continue to work hard to improve at whatever school I attend.  Because I am undecided on a major, I am looking for a school with a broad academic program.  I am open, however, to any opportunity that will allow me to continue to play baseball.
