Cameron Pope '14 Recruiting Profile

Hello,

My name is Cameron Pope. I am a 6 foot 2, 200 pound junior and i attend Free State High School in Lawrence, Kansas. My ultimate goal is to proceed my baseball career into college and hopefully if I am fortunate enough even farther than that. Ever since I was little I fell in love with the game, and knew that it meant a lot to me. Baseball started for me at T-Ball of course, and then evolved to me playing in a league that was here in Lawrence. After playing 2 or 3 years in this league, a couple coaches then chose to put together an All-Star team among the 10 teams or so in the league. I was chose to be put on this team, we played tournaments and went to state and nationals every year. I played with this team all the way up till my Freshmen year. From there I started on Junior Varisty at 1st base and Pitcher. After this season I noticed there would be a returning senior at 1st base, but that 3rd base was wide open for grabs. In the offseason I put in a lot of work and ended up becoming the starting 3rd Basemen on Varsity my Sophomore season. This website offers great oppourtunities and I am thankful to be able to find it, as it is a very useful tool to get in touch with coaches, and build relationships.
