I have a goal to further my education beyond high school and to play baseball in college. I have not decided on a major, but I am leaning toward something in law enforcement. In particular, a conservation officer. I really enjoy the outdoors. Baseball keeps me motivated in all that i do. When i am on the diamond, that is where my focus stays. When i am struggling in class, i have a tendency to use baseball as my motivation to do better. One of the baseball athletic traits that i have that helps me be a better player is that i have played just about every position on the field more than once. My primary position is listed as pitcher but in my high school and summer programs, my coaches utilize me for other positions based on game situations. 2b, 3b, ss, and pitcher are my main spots that i have had balanced reps at throughout each season. One thing that i have had success with on the mound is keeping my cool with runners in scoring position. I'm hoping it can help me secure a roster spot at the next level. Baseball keeps me busy in the spring, summer, and fall. November, December, and January are the only months of the year that I'm not actively participating in a sport. In those months, i will utilize indoor facilities to train for the upcoming spring baseball season. That pretty much keeps me busy athletically year round. I look forward to exploring my college options in the coming months/years and cant wait to compete at the next level.
