Kyle Wallbaum '14 Recruiting Profile

I'm a hardworking kid who is just trying to make my dream a reality, play college baseball and get a quality education. Education is most important to me. I'm looking for a school that accells in academics as well as athletics. I'm looking for a school with a solid business program, and one with many good opportunities for it's students after college, such as internships that lead to jobs. From a baseball perspective I'm looking for program who plays the game the right way. Where the coaches care about not only how the players are performing on the field, but more importantly how they are performing in the classroom. I'm a gamer, I'm always looking to grind out a single into a double, always looking to take an extra base. I love the game of baseball. Baseball is a game for kid's, it's exactly that, a game. I believe in having fun with the game. Although I hate losing, I know that it's going to happen. So I don't mourn over it, I use it as inspiration and motivation to get better so we can come out and get them next time. There should not be any what ifs, you should leave everything you have out on the field. That is what I'm looking for in a program and in a school.
