My name is Trevor Davis and I will be a junior at Morton High School in Morton, IL during the fall 2015. I have been part of baseball as young as I can remember and have been part of local travel baseball programs since age 9. While my athletic skills have helped me at other sports such as soccer and basketball, baseball has always been my first love.
During my first two years at Morton High School, I have excelled at both CF and RHP with both a strong arm as well as great speed. That speed and aggressiveness in the field has translated into success at the plate as I have typically batted leadoff (LH). While my batting average was strong both years, I was able to hit for more power my second year with an increase in extra base hits. Even with that extra power, I am still able to bunt for base hits and convert that into a high steal ratio with great baserunning instincts.
In baseball, my goals have always been to be coachable and keep improving at every level. I have done that through high school and want to continue the same in college. I look forward to being able to perform and succeed for a coaching staff at the college level.
