Competition, but especially in baseball, has been my passion for as long as I can remember. Pitching has especially fueled my competitive fire as it allows for both the individual drive and team spirit to thrive, and feeds my hunger to win. The game has truly taught me to be an unselfish person and teammate - every time I take the field, I want to put forth 110% for the benefit of the team and my own personal satisfaction.

I think this competitive nature has helped me take better control of my life off the field as well. As a two sport athlete in baseball and basketball, I have learned how to balance my time between sports, school, and family. Athletics have challenged me to work harder and perform at a high level in school, because the academic playing field is just as competitive as the baseball diamond. I am looking for a program that will challenge me athletically and academically, that will push me to be better tomorrow than I am today, and will be as committed to me, my team, and my future as I will be to it!
