June 2016Personal Statement
My goal is to play college baseball at a highly respected and challenging academic institution. I am a 2017 catcher and first baseman for Lyons Township High School (a 4A program with 4000 students). I was the Freshman and Sophomore MVP and won the starting Varsity Catcher job as a Junior. I have a 33 ACT (34 Super Score), and a 4.6 weighted GPA after taking many Advance Placement Courses.
My ultimate goal is to earn an excellent education and a position in a strong college baseball program. I am not focused on scholarships but rather would like to go to the best school possible while continuing to play and work at the game I love. My passion for baseball as well as my interest in the nuances and strategy of the game, drive me to get better and work harder everyday on the field, in the classroom, and in society.
