Micah McNicoll '16 Recruiting Profile

Ever since I have started playing baseball, I have always wanted to play at the next level. My goal right now is to make it to the collegiate level, and get the best education I can. Another goal for college is to major in either Kinesiology, Exercise Science, or Athletic Training. My goal after finishing my major is to become a Physical Therapist by getting my Doctorates Degree. Lastly, I want to play baseball at the collegiate level, since I love the sport and love to play the game. I strongly believe I am a good candidate for your team, I am coachable, I work hard, I give my 100% every time, and I work for everything no matter how hard the task is. Every coach that I have ever played for has said that I have a very good work ethic and to never stop working. I train 6 days a week, and take a day off to let my body recover. I train for baseball year round and have made a commitment to myself to work hard everyday, to get to the Collegiate baseball level and play for a College baseball team.  I always find a way to improve my baseball skills and knowledge. I believe I am different from other recruits; I work hard in baseball as well as school and do not take anything for granted. I work hard and do my best in school, and it shows because I have a cumulative GPA of 3.761.As a baseball player I see myself as a leader; I believe I lead by example because of my work ethic and the way my classmates look up to me. This year (2014) I was the captain of my JV baseball team, we won a JV championship, and I believe I it was leadership that won the game that day. As a student athlete, I want to get a good education and play baseball in College.
