I love the game of baseball. I want to play baseball at the highest level my ability will allow. I know that it takes on and off field hard work to achieve my goal. I am dedicated to working on all aspects of my game. I also have dedicated myself in the classroom. I know that my grades will open the doors to opportunities to play college baseball. I have had great role models showing me what it takes to be a successful student-athlete at the college level. My dad played tennis at the University of Nebraska and my older brother (LHP) was the friday night starter at LaGrange College who was ranked #1 in the nation in 2017. He was first team all-conference his 2 seasons at LC, won conference pitcher of the year his senior season and was an ABCA/Rawlings all-american his senior season. He ended his career holding 2 school records - lowest ERA in a season at 1.51 and career ERA at 1.74 in over 120 IP. He ended with a 17-2 record in 2 seasons and graduated summa cum laude and was named LaGrange's top male scholar athlete in 2017.
In February of 2017 I was topping at 60 MPH with my fastball. I had a goal to be at 70 MPH by August 1st. I had a tryout with the Georgia Jackets on 6/20/17 and topped at 65 MPH. On my call back tryout on 7/18/17 I topped at 74 MPH. My goal is to be at 80 MPH before my Milton High School 9th grade tryouts in January 2018.
I am so thankful for my parents giving me the opportunity to be coached and trained by men who know the game of baseball but also put more of an emphasis on building men of character and integrity. Thank you Jeff Auterson - Georgia Jackets baseball.
