Garrett Boeckle '23 Recruiting Profile

I have always loved the game of baseball - especially pitching. To me there is nothing better than having the ball in your hand and executing consistently. The 1:1 battle between the pitcher and batter really makes me love the game. I am a competitor, I show little emotion on the mound. I know that I have put in the work and have a strong mind. Whether I am starting a game or coming in to close, I have the same mentality. I thrive in high leverage situations. 

From an an academic perspective I take that same compete level to the classroom. I live by the phrase "wherever you are, be all there". I manage my time extremely well and manage the hectic athletic and academic challenges by seeking excellence in everything I do. 

I dont stop until the work is done. I know that people across the country are working hard to get to where I am. I have to work even harder as I strive to continue my growth and keep developing. Complacency is not an option for me.
