February 2016Personal Statement
I am a great kid on and off the field. I work hard in school and I am a fierce competitor. I put my heart into everything I do and I will do anything to help my team succeed. My goal is to play college baseball (while keeping a very high GPA) and win a College World Series in Omaha, NE. Once I graduate college (finish my college baseball career), my goal is to enter the MLB draft where I can positively represent my family and my college/university in future success.

- I have had the pleasure of coaching Carter for the past 2 seasons. He is an all around great kid on and off the field. Carter is well liked and respected by all his teammates and a great leader on our team. Carter is multi-talented, powerful and very focused athlete. His skill set and knowledge of the game is impressive and his sportsmanship is exemplary. Carter can hit with power to all fields, is aggressive but disciplined at the plate to make him a well rounded hitter. Carter has a very bright future ahead of him on and off the field. - My name is Mike Ethridge, and I have had the pleasure of coaching Carter McGonigal for the past couple of seasons. As a coach, it is so refreshing to have an athlete love the game as much as Carter does. Carter is one of the hardest working young men on the field and off. I have watched Carter grow over the past couple of seasons into a very strong young man physically and mentally. He has extreme ability on the mound, behind the plate and up to bat. He is a leader and a mentor for the younger generation.
