My love for the game of baseball began when I was very young and would go to the baseball field to watch my older brother play. When I was 7 I started playing myself and have been consumed with enthusiasm for the game ever since. Something that I feel sets me apart from others is my dedication to constantly improving my skills. I am a true student of the game in the sense that I am always looking for ways to learn more about the game and increase my skill set. Through playing baseball I have learned much about the value of teamwork and communication with my team on and off the field.

Along with my athletic goals of playing baseball at the college level and beyond, I also have important academic goals. Through careful planning with my parents and guidance counselor, I will have some college classes completed when I graduate from high school. My academic goals are to complete a Bachelor’s Degree program in a field that involves sports in some way, possibly sports management. I am searching for a school that meets my academic needs and where my athletic skills will be fully utilized in the baseball program.
