Personal Statement

Thank you in advance for reading my profile.  I know I will be a good addition to your baseball program and can contribute to the success of your team and reputation of your school. I have a strong work ethic when it comes to my academics, along with a focused balance to developing physically and working on my baseball skills.  I always bring pride, dedication, and leadership in all my activities. My collegiate goals are to major in business/marketing and to play college baseball. I know I can reach these goals by maintaining my strong academic grades and by staying dedicated to being a ballplayer every single day.  I also know that playing baseball in college is a privilege that I would never take for granted.

I am different from other athletes because I try to put as much effort in improving myself as I do trying to make the people around me better. I believe understanding team goals and having full cooperation with your colleagues is the key to success in any environment.  I strive to do my best and always look for ways to improve.  I try to lead by example. I believe as a catcher, I am obligated to the team to be a field general and must be a vocal leader on the diamond.  I may be bias, but no baseball team goes anywhere without a good catcher.

If I'm not on the baseball field, I'm at the batting cages or at the gym.  I take a lot of pride in my ability to block pitches and work on it all the time.  I love throwing guys out trying to steal or bunt.  Every pitch I am laser beam focused and look for a way to impact the game.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
