Michael Poudrier '13 Recruiting Profile

I am a class of 2013 catching prospect, who became the varsity starter by the end of my sophomore year, over three upper classmen.  Height: 6 foot 2 inch, Weight: 185 lb.  My pop times are now consistently in the 2.00 and under range, personal best of 1.85; I threw out 43% of base stealers last summer.  I have hit in the number 3-4 slots on my summer teams, for high batting averages and OBP.  I am also a hard working student.  Now completing my junior year, I am doing my best to take on the challenge (4.0 GPA  this year) and have included three honors courses in my schedule. I am also distinguishing myself as the lead bass singer in my high school’s extremely competitive and popular A Cappella group.   My dream is to play college baseball in a high caliber program, which provides a track to Cape Cod League summers.  Behind the dish, I am a natural, vocal leader, and I am always giving 100%. I aspire to attend a highly regarded college, which offers a strong curriculum in economics and business.
