Taniela Moli '21 Recruiting Profile

    Hello my name is Taniela Moli, AKA, "T-bone." I was given my alias from my 1st youth travel baseball Coach and Manager of Golden Era Baseball in Walnut Creek, CA. I started playing baseball since the age of 5 out of Alameda Little league in California. Since leaving Alameda I've played in a variety of club teams, won 4 USSSA tournaments and most recently just wrapped up a season playing 3B and outfield with San Leandro's Washington Manor League 15U Angels team. I'm a freshmen at San Leandro High School (SLHS) and during the off season I participate in a weight training program to strengthen and improve my athletic abilities with a goal of securing a spot on the SLHS baseball team.

    In middle school I've worked hard to maintain a 3.8 GPA and have high school goals to surpass my average in addition to completing college courses concurrently.  Demonstrating leadership is important to me and I was voted in and held student body representative during 6th-8th grade. I'm currently taking a Seminary Class to fulfill my spirituality and help develop myself in becoming a well-rounded individual. I am also a percussionist (Drums) in my high school's concert and marching bands.

    My ideal school would have equity between my academics and the diamond. I yearn for an institution with a distinguished reputation in the study of Kinesiology and I have goals to pursue a career in the field of Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine. In addition to that, I'm interested in the field of Biology and other Health Sciences. On the field I hope to play at the highest peak and would love to play for a team where I can make an impact. Although I am a strong hitter and play well in defense positions, I am well-rounded and have a high baseball IQ to play many positions. I am excited to see where this journey can take me and am open to the many possibilities!
