Michael Steinke '16 Recruiting Profile

I plan on going through college and graduating with a major in Pre-Medicine. I would like to go on to learn cardiothoracis and eventually become a cardiothoracic surgeon. What makes me a good candidate for any collegiate baseball team is my perserverence. No matter the difficulty, I will handle anything. I will keep on trying and trying until I succeed. I am smarter than most recruits, but that doesn't mean that I overthink things. Before the play occurs, I have already thought of at least 20 different possible outcomes that involve me in the play. I am a great teammate and will never talk down on another, but instead try to boost their spirits if they have been struggling on the field. I believe in team bonding leads to league wins.
