I have been playing baseball since I was four years old and there is nothing I love more than the feeling I have when I step onto the diamond.
I have learned the complete game of baseball – how to play and how to be a teammate - from remarkable coaches and teachers. I am a leader and try to lead by example while also encouraging my teammates. I strive to be the hardest working player on and off the field. My coaches and teammates view me as a leader with strong values and a drive to succeed.
In the classroom, I study hard and enroll in Advanced Placement and Honors courses. My weighted GPA for the first three years of high school is a 3.9. As of now, I have not decided on a major but I know I want to attend a college where I can continue to excel in my academics and on the field.
My summer between junior and senior year, in addition to continuing my strength and conditioning, I will be working 40 hours per week at Pacific Park Santa Monica Pier, the west coast’s premier amusement park visited each year by millions of people.
I foresee my college years to be a period of personal growth and development. On the field, I plan to be a dynamic player and positive influence on the team. As I grow both physically and emotionally, I will strive to be an outstanding player and person. I will conduct myself with integrity on and off the field, knowing that I represent my school, team, my coaches and family.
