Daniel Andrada '11 Recruiting Profile

First of all, I would like to thank you Coach for taking the time to view my NCSA scouting report. I'm Daniel Andrada and I am a 5'8" middle infielder from Oakland, CA. I am Filipino and Black and I weight 150 pounds. I want to play college baseball because I am very passionate about the game. I play nearly year around and through the years have accumulated a thorough understanding of what goes on in between the lines. I know that I have the drive, heart, and skills to play collegiately and can contribute to any college baseball program. My speed and athleticism highlight my abilities and if you ever see me play I use them to make the 'non-routine' plays (as I call them). I will stretch a single into a double, steal the bag standing up, and make the diving play up the middle. These are the skills I hope to bring to your college. My work ethic and the support from my parents and coaches have helped me elevate my game to where it is today and their continued support makes me work harder and harder to maximize my skills. I hope to be recruited at D1, D2, or D3 program with a reputation for academic excellence. As a son of parents who never went to college, I hope to get into the best possible school to make them proud. Moreover, I want to be recruited to help my family's financial situation. Especially since we have recently welcomed a new baby sister into the family. I hope you will consider recruiting me because of my athletic and academic standing.
