September 2014Personal Statement
My name is Austin Conniff and I am a RHP who can either start or come in for relief. I attend Norco High School in So. Calif. and will graduate with "Honors with Distinction" in June of 2015.
I am a excellent student who strives for academic success. I have a 4.4 GPA and I am ranked 13 out of 550 for my graduating class. I am a A.P. and Honors student and have been on the "Principal's Honor Roll" for three years as well as being named to the "Big VIII All Academic Team" for Varsity Baseball my Sophomore and Junior year.
I have been on Norco High School's Varsity Baseball team for two seasons now and we have been league champions for both those seasons and advanced into the C.I.F. playoffs. Besides high school baseball, I also play travel/club baseball for C.B.A. - Calif. Baseball Academy.
I work extremely hard in the classroom as well as on the baseball field. Repeatedly over the years, my teachers and coaches have stated that my best traits are that I am : goal oriented, over achiever, a team player who earns the respect of my classmates, teammates and coaches as well as having a high upside to coach ability.
As for life after high school, I am exploring all options for attending an excellent academic college as well as an opportunity to pursue my dream of playing college baseball.
