November 2015Personal Statement
My name is Cameron Williams and I am dedicated to the sport of baseball. I work hard in school in hopes of earning a scholarship to a college with a good baseball program. I have an excellent work ethic and do work-outs at a gym and at home independent of required team training at school. During my junior year, at practice I broke my left hand and was out for the entire 2015 season. However, I assisted the coaches and kept score and statistics on all the players the entire season. The players voted and I received the Coaches' Award for 2015.
I was medically cleared to play again at the end of May 2015 and attended the Oklahoma University Baseball camp three weeks later. I was ranked 2nd out of 36 players, in spite of missing my entire 2015 season.
This fall 2015, I have been working hard and have been improving my strength and skill sets.
I am currently the Varsity Team Captain for the 2016 season.
