Jake Umathum '18 Recruiting Profile

Over the past 7 years I have dedicated my life to baseball and studies. I have put in a lot of hard work in the classroom and on the field. I am the type of person who will devote all of my energy and effort into accomplishing my goals. For example, before my freshman year I told my parents that I would make the varsity team. I was not on the original roster, but with hard work and dedication throughout the season I earned a spot on the team. This is just one example of my determination. In the classroom my work ethic is no different. I have maintained a 3.5 GPA or above in all my years of schooling, including advanced and AP classes. A major that I am really interested in is Business. It is a field of work that grabs my attention. I am an open-minded person, and willing to go anywhere that will give me a chance. I know I can adapt to any situation and enviroment that I am put in. I will guarantee that I can be a role model for your team and school. I also know I have the character you'll be looking for.
