My goals are to be an accomplished student athlete and represent myself, family and team with dignity and respect. My late grandfather Ernie Banks and my Dad have instilled these core moral ethics. Currently as a incoming Loyola freshman, I am still looking for my path as student athlete and collegian. I would like to focus on my studies, baseball and basketball skill sets to become a complete student athlete. My focus is to be 100% committed to my education, family, team and spiritual integrity to be the best teammate possible. I would consider myself as a "coachable kid" who listens to all coaches to become a better ballplayer and person. When I am selected for a team or organization, I always commit to it. I have this "never give in, never give up" attitude, staying positive. I will always cheer on my teammates and I never dwell on the past. I focus on what I am doing at moment and try not to think too far into the future. I have several hobbies. I enjoy to traveling, food, and I like to read and draw. My favorite subject is Science.
In 2016, I was selected by the Under Armour Baseball Factory 12U, based on the tryouts in March, July and September of my tryouts. Based on the March 2016 tryout, I was invited to his 2nd UA skills competition in July 2016. The UA skills camp was for 4 days at Lavern College. I trained with 37 12-14yr old boys, from all over the USA to included HI, CA, MA, and IL. UA coaches provided feedback on my skills highlighting my development and what I can improve. I was invited to UA National Team also In July 2017 but declined to attend, as there was a conflict as I enrolled in Loyola Summer School. Subsequently I was selected and accepted to attend the combine of Elite Development Invitational (EDI) in Vero Beach Fl at the Dodger Facility to compete. After a tryout with USSSA in April 2017, I was selected to represent USSSA ESPN at World Wide Sports and the 13U FAR / WEST Region (American) All American Team in Orlando in August. Our team was comprised of 14 kids from CA, AZ and NV. We went 4-1 and lost in the Quarter final round. It was a great experience and my goal is to make the 14U team next year. I currently play with Garciaparra Baseball Group (GBG Marucci Navy) and will be playing in the 2017 Arizona Fall Freshman Classic 2021, September 28 - Oct 1.
I look forward to the new year as a Freshman at Loyola High school.
