My name is Jacob Varney and I am going to attend Lodi high school as a freshman. I've been very passionate about baseball ever since I was introduced to the game at an early age.  I enjoy my fellow teammates and the desire to win.  I've always pushed myself to be a successful both on the field and off through hard work and continual practice.  I'm very knowledgeable, coachable, respectful, and humble.  I'm a very versatile player, athlete. I've played for 9 years at almost every position.  I have made the all-star team 6 years during my little league career. My goal would be to continue playing baseball at the collegiate level as I further my education.  I learn every year from my coaches and respect the knowledge and time they bring to my teams.
