I truly believe in the term, scholar athlete. I take to the classroom with the same tenacity that I take the field. I love this game. I have a strong baseball IQ, and I work every day to achieve my goal of playing in college. I am a winner...I know how to win, and I expect to win...and it begins and ends with my commitment to the team, and the team concept to this game. If it could be measured as a statistic, I'd lead the league in work ethic.
I embrace challenges. I know I'm not the biggest player on the field, but I've played with the best this country has to offer in terms of baseball here in Southern California and Texas, and I've been successful. I'm confident I can take my game to the next level.
Personally, I am committed to being the change I'd like to see in the world, and I pursue each moment with that in mind. Each day, I can make a difference, as a true scholar athlete.
