I believe I am a good candidate for your team because I give my full effort every second of the game and I am very coachable. I do not enjoy failure, yet I embrace what I learn from the mistakes I make and I work my hardest to prevent those mistakes from occurring again. I also strive to be a team player instead of an "I guy," and I work just as hard as I do on the field while in the classroom. As far as athleticy, I hit for power, but also adjust to the situation I am in. I have learned not to swing for the fences with a runner at second and nobody out, and instead just look to hit a groundball to the right side. I can run the bases pretty well, and I am always looking to advance on a ball in the dirt. As of now, my top velocity for my fastball is 74 mph, and I throw 4 different pitches. At firstbase, I am always prepared for a wild throw, and I feel I have learned to pick the ball pretty well. I am looking forward to growing stronger both physically and mentally, as I am currently in 8th grade.
