Personal Statement

I am currently attending Mission Community College in Santa Clara, CA. I had a very successful fall season and am looking forward to the upcoming season. My goal is to transfer from Mission to play at a four year university where I could contribute and make an impact. One thing that drives me the most is the desire to be great. This means on the field, in the classroom, and in the community as well. Whatever task I choose to complete, it is done with maximum effort, no matter how big or how small it may be. I would be a good candidate for any team because of my strong work ethic and because I am extremely supportive of my teammates. My first appearance of the spring was against Marin, a top 15 team in Northern California. I pitched two innings and did not give up any hits while striking out one batter.

  • "Dylan is lean RHP with an athletic body that has good projectability, he featured a stretch only delivery with clean mechanics, a straight over the top slot. The arm slot is a little too high, as he could use more of a high 3/4 delivery, moving his release away from his body which could result in more velocity and consistency from side to side in the zone. There is more arm speed there than the gun readings were showing and again, that is due to the slot and not allowing his shoulder to work more easily."

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
