September 2015Personal Statement
My name is Colby Vosgien and I am a LHP from the class of 2017. I have been playing baseball since I was five years old and I fell in love with the game ever since I was introduced to it by my dad. I just love the competitiveness and the challenge of doing well on the field.
My freshmen year in high school didn't give me a lot of opportunities, so since then I would strive to work hard on the field and in the classroom. Through this hard work, I have made many accomplishments up until now where I am a varsity starting pitcher and have a 4.0 GPA . My SAT score was 1220 out of 1600. Being able to play baseball in college would be a dream come true, and I will continue to work harder and harder each day on and off the field. I will be a great and compatible teammate to work with, and my goal will be to have a major impact at the collegiate level in baseball and academically.

- Each pitcher faced 4 batters. I gave up no hits. I struck out 2 batters. One batter hit a pop fly to right field and another hit a short pop up to the first baseman. Graded by Coach Sean Larimer of CSN to have "average plus" for deceptive delivery and good late movement on curve ball.
Training
- Pitching and Batting lessons. Personal training workouts

- Personal training workouts six times a week, along with BHS baseball practice 5 days a week. Pitching lessons with Sid Lopez a D2 college coach, and batting practice 5 days a week. Additional batting cages practice once a week. Two BHS varsity games a week along with one IPB Academy game per week.
