Mason Goodman '18 Recruiting Profile

My name is Mason Goodman Grad Year 2018. I attend St. John Bosco High School in Bellflower, CA and play for GBG Baseball Group.  I am a Right Handed Pitcher playing Varsity in the tough Trinity League in Orange County, CA.  Bosco actually just won the Trinity League for the first time and made it to the Semi Finals in CIF Div 2.  I am very proud to be a part of it.  

My collegiate goals is to be committed to a competitive college whether it be D1, D2, or D3, where I can display my talents, get a good education, and grow as a human being.  I feel I stand out as a RHP because of my knowledge of the game, my size,  my ability to throw strikes and be able to get out of any situation I need to.  I think of myself as a Work Horse and have already been in many situations where I have been able to handle whats in front of me.  I have also learned a lot from my coaches and have learned over time to take everything in to get myself better.

This Current summer I am playing various tournaments such as 17U JO Tournament in Arizona, Under Armour Tournament in Los Angeles Area in late July, and the Phil Singer Tournament in Carslbad, CA.  I am also working out with GBG playing various Sundays.  When I am not working out and keeping myself in shape I am coaching the 13U Babe Ruth All Stars from Westchester, CA and getting a lot out of out.  Previous Summers I the Junior Olympic 17U Tournament in Arizona where I Pitched 9 Innings, 14K's, 0.00 ERA, and a WHIP of 0.444. I also played in Houston, TX in the Marucci World Series, the Under Armour Tournament in Los Angeles, and the Phil Singer Carlsbad Tournament. I also played in the Evoshield Underclass where I got a write up and Video. I completed my winter playing in the Junior Classic and Rising Prospects Camp.

I have previously played with GBG in various tournaments and also went to Tennessee to win the Babe Ruth World Series.
