Troy Maki '17 Recruiting Profile

I love to play baseball.  While my two primary positions are pitcher and shortstop, I have also played third base, second base, and left field for my high school team.  I am willing to play wherever the coach needs me to play.

I have very good hands and hand-eye coordination.  I have above average speed and arm strength. My greatest attribute is that I understand the game.  While physically I may not make every play (who does?), I always know where and what play should be made.

I want to play at the highest levels to which my abilities and determination will take me.  This aspiration certainly includes playing at the collegiate level.  One of the best parts of baseball is the competition.  I want to compete at the highest levels.
