Personal Statement

My name is Coleman ("Cole") John Sester, and as a freshman in high school with high "A's" and "B's", I aspire to go to a 4 year college and major in the field of Health Sciences.  I want to go to a school that will academically challenge me and prepare me for life after school in the medical field. I chose the field of Health Sciences, because it is constantly growing and is very promising.

I was always interested in baseball from a young age and have been playing since I was five years old.  On the field, I am a primary (right handed) pitcher.  I am used as a starter and maintain a low ERA.  I also play third base and shortstop.  I have a very strong arm and the ball rarely gets by me.  In the batting order, I hit in the four hole and I am a strong and consistent hitter.

Baseball has taught me how to be a leader and how to be a real man on an off the field.  Baseball is very important to me, but academics will always be first on my list.  My goal is to have great success in life even if it's not on a baseball diamond.  I will strive to be a dynamic asset to the pitching rotation, the infield, and the batting line up.  Most of these things come easily to many athletes, but what sets me apart is my work ethic, my attitude, my character, and my coachability.  I will honorably conduct myself and my actions knowing how I act will reflect on the school, the program, my coaches, and my teammates.  I will strive to be an all around scholar athlete and a leader on and off the field regardless of where I go in sports and in the classroom.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
