My name is ladarius reid. I am 16 years old. I know i am a bit young but i am trying to get a early start at life. I am 5'5, run a 4.7, weigh 120 pounds, and i have been wrestling for 3 years now. My first year of wrestling i got 5th at distict, that is all. I was extreamly disipointed in myself. My second year i got 1st at distict, 4th at regonals, and lost my first 2 matches at state. My coaches have said i am a trooper. At the state tournament i hurt my sholder blade really bad. i could have quit, but i love this sport to much to just give up like that. so i kept on wrestling. my second and final match i got put in two eligal chicken wings and again hurt my sholder. I still did not quit. My 3rd year of wrestling I wasn't able to finish out the season due to a recurring shoulder injury. I finished the season 19-5. Now I have been going through physical therapy to strengthen my shoulder. Anyone that knows me knows that i never give up. I am very hard working and hate losing, but i understand that inorder to be succeccfull inlike the long run it is neccacary to lose. Ever since iv started wrestling it has been my dream to wrestle in college. When i graduate college i would like to become a navy seal. i would like to wrestle in a D1 school, with a high academic level. My dad has enstilled in me that education is most important. i would like to major in architecture and bussiness. My wrestling goals are to become state champion and even national champion. when ever my team is at a dual meet and we are not doing very well. My coaches know that they can count on me to get things rolling in our favor. I believe that i can make a huge impact on a team. i am at a very high math and reading level. my reading level is at a 12 grade level and so is my math. i am willing to work hard to succeed.
