Jonathan Stewart '14 Recruiting Profile

My collegiate goals and aspirations are to graduate with either a bachelors or masters degree in Physical Education and to attend a 4 year university anywhere in the United States. I'd make a good candidate for any team because I am a leader and passionate about what I do. I believe in spending extra time after every practice lifting and working on technique, I work hard, day in day out and I'm always hungry for more. I want to go somewhere where I will be given the opportunity to reach my goal...to be a champion. People say they are tough and act it, but deep inside they lack. I don't lack, I've been through trials and tribulations, like when i broke my hand in a football game, I've had some minor injuries but never let them stop me from working hard to achieve my goals. I don't show up to just be there, I want to be the best and I strive every day to be, and set out to be an example and encouragement to my teammates. A local paper called me a "wrestling junkie" and a "hard worker". My coach said he has never met anyone that loves wrestling as much as he does, till he met me!  I have an addiction: watching college level wrestling matches to learn more and more. 2x district champ, 2x regional champ, 2x all-conference wrestler, conference champ, 2x state participant, placed 2nd as a senior, 2x team captain, 2x coaches award winner, leadership award, 2x hardest working award winner, 2x team captain, 2x j rob 14 day camp grad, eternal warrior 15 day camp honor grad. This summer I am excited to be a Jr counselor at Eternal Warrior Wrestling Camp.
