I began wrestling at the age of 6 and began traveling with the sport at the age of 8. It was at this point that I was fortunate enough to be able to travel to some of the highest recognized wrestling states, such as Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Ohio and many others. Each year I have learned more and have excelled even further. During my elementary and middle school wrestling years, I was the state champion for 8 years. Now as far as my high school career, my freshman year was good and strong, as I placed 5th in the state and 4th in the NHSCA. My Sophomore year, I won the AAA state championship and went All American at Fargo North Dakota in the Cadet Freestyle division and for my Junior year, this year I fought through various obstacles and won the AAAA state championship for my high school. One of the strongest and best things, I feel that I can offer the coaches is my determination and relentless attitude to succeed. Even though I have been successful with my wrestling, the true success actually began and still continues with my academics. I have been an honor roll student since Kindergarten and realize that just like on the wrestling mat, education is something that must be worked on at all times. In conclusion, my aspirations on the wrestling side is to win a national title. My aspirations in regards to my academics and my future are to work hard and to excel in all tasks that I take on and to be successful in life.
