Hello, I am Jacob Green, I'm 5,7" and wrestle at the 160 lbs weight class, moving to 170 my senior year. I have wrestled since my freshmen year, making varsity each year, and have progressed rapidly through this sport. I made it to state as a sophomore and junior placing 6th my junior year, and intend to make a run at a state title my senior year. I wrestle greco-roman, and freestyle as well, and have placed in club state all three of the years I have competed in it. I have qualified for Team Texas all three years, and I have wrestled for them at nationals my freshmen and sophomore years. I also qualified for the Junior Duals team my sophomore year. This past summers concentrated preparation on technique and training hard to get ready for a banner performance my senior year paid big dividends. I finished my senior season with a 43-1 record and a District, Regional and State Championships. I am not entirely decided on a major in college, but I lean more toward the medical field, and wish to earn a scholarship with wrestling so I can further my education, and love of the sport.
