Charles Boatman '16 Recruiting Profile

When I began high school it was never my goal to wrestle in college, that seemed so out of reach. Instead I create goals for myself every year, and after putting in the work I surpassed them by far. I want to continue to surpass my goals in the coming years. I have created a name for myself at my school as being somewhat crazy, not in a bad way, just as being sort of an animal. I couldn't could the amount of times that people have asked if I was human or called me a robot; because to get people to call you that you have to have a way about you something that makes me different. I am different because I am willing to put myself through more to accomplish my goals, no injury, no incident, no amount of pain could stop me, and those around me can attest to that. I am a National merit scholar, and a National honor scholar. So I take care of what I have to in the classroom. I am a captain and a natural born leader so I am always ready to step up and be the difference that is needed.
