Austin Brandt '16 Recruiting Profile

My name is Austin Brandt and I have been wrestling for a little over 8 years. What started out as a hobby has turned into a passion. I have enjoyed wrestling at all levels and I look forward to the rest of my high school career and into what I hope to be a very promising future in college. I believe that I can bring a very strong skill set to the collegiate level. My goals are to win a state title and carry that momentum into college by winning a National title as well as help my team win a National Championship. I am a very hard worker in the mat room and that has helped me become a better student in the class room. Wrestling has made me a better person, student and teammate. I would like to find the right college so that I can excel in the mat room as well as the class room and ultimately in life. Wrestling at the collegiate level would be a great honor. I inspire to be a leader on and off the mat and to become a role model for younger wrestlers just starting out. I hope to make all my coaches that have helped me along the way proud and most of all my parents. Thank you, Austin!
